All our activities are free and most of them continue throughout the year.
Baby Bounce & Rhyme
Baby Bounce and Rhyme sessions are for children from birth and their parents/carers. The sessions are a fun way to encourage an early love of language, rhymes and songs and can be a firm foundation for learning to read. Each session lasts about one hour and includes nursery rhymes, clapping and bouncing rhymes, action songs and an informal discussion.
Bilingual Minis
Are you a parent or carer who has English as a second language. Bilingual Minis enables you, your baby or toddler to enjoy play activites, meet new friends and learn about different nationalites through crafts, songs, sotries and culture celebrations.
Breast Feeding Drop-in
Breastfeeding your baby can be an emotional and challenging times. Our breastfeeding drop in is here to support you. Why not pop along and have a cup of tea and chat with other breastfeeding mothers, our peer supporters and breastfeeding specialist are here to listen to any problems or concerns you may have about breastfeeding and hopefully we can help make your breastfeeding experience as enjoyable as possible.
Thursdays 9:30am-11:30am.
Pregnant mums are more than welcome to come along.
We are always looking for breastfeeding mothers who would like to volunteer their time and support other breastfeeding mums.
Child Health Clinic
The Child Health Clinic is run by the local Health Visitors at our Centre in Sevenoaks once a week on a Thursday morning from 09.30-11.15. It is a place where you can have your child weighed, ask for advice and chat in a warm friendly atmosphere. The team will be pleased to discuss with you any issues relating to your health or to the health and development of your child/children. Health Visitors are qualified nurses with additional qualifications and are employed by South West Kent Primary Care Trust. They aim to promote physical, emotional and social well being with both individuals and the population as a whole and are central to improving public health. Health Visitors have a strong emphasis on working with families after their babies are born and they continue to work with children in their early years. This can help to prevent difficulties or identify problems early on and provide additional support as needed. The team can be contacted at the Sevenoaks Hospital office Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm on 01732 470345. Please leave a message if necessary & your call will be returned as soon as possible. For general enquiries about non-urgent matters such as feeding, teething, weaning, minor ailments etc, a Health Visitor is available to speak to directly on the Health Visitors' helpline: 01732 368296 9.30am - 12pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
Child Minders' Group
The local childminders meet together every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, to run a fun session for the children they look after. Please contact the centre for more information.
HERO Project
The Hero project offers practical advice and guidance on a range of options to help you plan your future housing, your career and to better manager your finances. Our HERO officer can talk to you free of charge on a one to one basis about:
Housing Problems, Saving money on fuel bills, debts and mortgage advice, welfare benefits, retraining or further education options, getting back to work and starting your own business.
Parent Craft/Antenatal Classes
Informal and interactive classes, helping parents to make informed choices for pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. Led by midwives from Sevenoaks Team for clients booked to deliver at Pembury Hospital. For information and dates contact 01732 470341.
New Parents' Group
This is a four week group which is run by Penny, from the Health Visiting team and supported by Spring House. The aim of the group is to offer support, advice and the opportunity for new first time mums to chat about birth experiences, feeding, weaning, sleeping and first aid in a warm supportive atmosphere. Splish, Splash Hop
This is fun and social group for preschool children and their parents or carers. Come and play with water, sand, play dough, painting and a different craft activity each week. All activities are designed to help eye/hand co-ordination as well as singing, dancing and looking at books......and you thought they were just playing! Fridays 9.30-10.45 for 0-2year olds and 11.15-12.45 for over 2's. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron.
Twins Baby Group
Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 3.15 - 4.45pm. For further information please call the Centre.
Westerham
Parent/Carer Drop In
This is a term time only drop in held at Churchill Primary School, Rysted Lane. It gives the the opportunity to ask our Family Support/Outreach Worker information regarding the services we provide in the Westerham catchment area.
Little Stars - Halsted
This is a fun and social group for preschool children and their parents or carers. Term time only - 1.30pm-2.45pm.
Weigh & Stay Parents Drop In plus Breast Feeding Support

Jumping Beans is a stay and play session which focuses on your child's physical development.
