Do you have something to say about what is needed for families with children under five in the Sevenoaks and Westerham areas? If so, why not come along to the Parents' Forum? It is the place where parents, grandparents and carers are able to influence decision-making in your local Sure Start Children's Centre and also the other services Spring House provides.
What is Parents Plus Forum?
A Parents Plus Forum is a group of parents who meet to share their opinions and ideas about issues that affect them and their families. The Spring House Parents' Forum gives parents in the area the chance to have an input in the way that the Service delivers its services. We encourage parents to voice their opinions on the delivery of current activities, proposed future activities and any other relevant issues that may arise.
Who is the Parents Plus Forum for?
The forum is for parents of children aged five and under in the Sevenoaks and Westerham Children's Centre areas. No experience is necessary to be involved, just enthusiasm and a commitment of a monthly meeting on Mondays from 9.30 - 11.00.
Why have a Parents' Forum?
The ideas that the parents' forum discuss help Spring House develop activities that match the actual needs of the community. We are keen to involve parents in the delivery of the project. Parents' views, needs and desires are important to Spring House and all parents' views are welcomed and respected.
